Throughout the year the Parent Teacher Association (PTA) host events to raise money to support the Enrichment Classes - Science, Art, Music, P.E., Drama and Gardening as well as After School Programs, the purchase of new educational technology and so much more!
Hanalei School will hold their HI-5 Recycling on Friday, October 1st. Look for us under the tent, behind the cafeteria between 7am-8:30am.
The end of the quarter is Oct.8, the class with the most tickets earns a prize!
Above: Students in Ms. Ricardo’s 6th Grade Social Studies class working in small groups to practice their annotation skills. Students first read a subsection of Social Studies text, then annotated, shared, and compared their notes and decided what key details they would share with peers. Through this exercise, students utilized multiple layers of higher thinking such as analyzing and extended thinking.

JOIN US ON FRIDAY SEPTEMBER 3RD BETWEEN 7AM-8AM BEHIND THE CAFETERIA
Kids and teachers earn tickets and at the end of each quarter the tickets are added up and the winning classrooms get a prize!! If you're not already recycling, we can help you get set up. It's great not only for our school but for our beautiful island!
